To whom it may concern:

As music director at James A. Foshay Learning Center, I've Known Elise Lightburn for more than five years. She was a student in my beginning band class in sixth grade learning the Saxophone. From there, she flourished in all ways.

she uses music to express herself  and embrace more aspects of the arts.

She began to sing, dance, and act at a high level. Elise is a wonderful and confident communicator who enjoys expressing her thoughts. her contributions in class, reflections, and conversations requiring higher level thinking elevate the quality of the experience for everyone. Elise is a dedicated student who applies her best effort what she does. She is creative and thinks outside the box.

Elise is an exceptional vocalist and has performed with our renowned jazz Ensemble on countless occasions. There is no stage too big for her. She recently performed for over a thousand distinguished guests which included presidential candidate,Kamala Harris.Her poise, elegance, and confidence make her a special talent as she lights up the stage.
 

Elise has relentless work ethic. Whether its a difficult passage of music on saxophone or a challenging vocal run, she will arrive early or stay late after rehearsal to work. she wont stop trying until she succeeds.

Elise Lightburn is a remarkable  student who has contributed to much in helping our music program and school special . I look forward to watching her careers she will continue to do great things wherever she goes.
